This blog is my way of celebrating a fatastic car which I feel very fortunate to own: the Lotus Elise. I bought the car from Ascot Imported Cars in Sewickely, PA, in March of last year. The car accelerates quickly and handles like no other car I have driven. It has a very spartan interior with few accessories. The "carpeting" consists of floor mats. There is no cruise control or adjustible seating. Many of the amenities that we have grown accustomed to are left out in an effort to preserve weight. Nonetheless, the compromises are well worth the final result.
